I wish the movie wasn't so popular though because it's very low budget, and about halfway into the movie, it becomes very evident that there's missing pieces. (I watched the movie 6 times for clarifications/retranslations and etc.) I enjoyed the movie all the same, but it's a bit... overhyped?

In 君の名は when the MC starts tracking the location of the girl, there is an obvious gap between the restaurant scenes and when he and his friends go off on this crazy adventure to find a basically dead girl, her family- the whole village, actually. It also gets a little spotty with the animation at points (if you go back and watch it again and again, you start to notice things you didn't notice the first time).
