yeah, sorry it's kinda crappy, this is my very first attempt in photoshop editing.(since i mostly draw, and not do some edits)
i've been thinking of doing this since the term 'sparklepire' showed up.^^
this way, we can define and differentiate a vampire from a sparklepire; they are not to be confused.^_^
Definition:
vampires are dark, atrocious beings; drinks blood from human beings, and can't live under the sunlight--hence they sleep off during the day in their coffins and wake up at sunset.
sparklepires; also called meyerpires, are simply...lowly, disgusting, dismal creatures that were not supposed to exist even in the fantasy/fiction world. They are also not to be confused with gays/homosexuals; since gays/homosexuals are very much more honorable than them. Thus, comparing sparklepires to homosexuals can be insulting.

-Selene (The Underworld Trilogy)
-David (The Lost Boys)
-Count Dracula (Bram Stoker's Dracula)
-Dani Filth (vocalist of the english extreme metal band, Cradle of Filth; mostly known to portray himself as a vampire in their earlier albums, and a demon in the later albums)
-Alucard (Hellsing [anime])
-Count Orlok (Nosferatu)
-Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles)
-Lestat de Lioncourt (Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles)
-Blade (Marvel comics) (though known as a dhampir, Blade is also considered a certain figure in the vampire lore)
The rotten apple was also inspired from xxBrokenVainxx's concept of a rotten apple (as seen on my file 'anti twilight'

So you think all vampires are the same stereotypes of being fanged bloodsucking creatures of the night who burn in the sunlight, wears a fabulous cape, sleeps in coffins, being a fag with cheesy Eurotrash accents etc.?
That's where your wrong. I'm a TRUE vampire expert since 98 when i was in high school as i studied and researched on many kinds of vampires.
There are a variety of species of vampires in world legends from Africa, South America, Australia, Native-American/Canadian Wendigo lore, Hawaii, Caribbean Islands to Asia.
Some other vampires can't burn in the sunlight as only the well known European vampire can do that but other breeds can't burn in sunlight such as Egyptian vampires for example. Even though some perfer to attack at night as some vampires can be free to walk in daylight while some can turn to stone like a couple of African vampires and one breed like one Asian vampire breed can turn invisible in sunlight.
Some vampires can appear like animal-like creatures, beasts or like Goblins such as Australian, some African, some South American or Filipino vampires for example.
Traditional stake through the heart or sunlight or garlic doesn't hold good. Some can only be destroyed by decapictation, hanging, regular water, fire, or by any kind of means.
Not all have fangs for some have sharp as blades regular teeth like Egyptian vampires for example while some can have shark teeth like Filipino vampires for example.
Some can be cannibalistic such as Wendigo made Native-American/Canadian made or Australian vampires for example. Those kinds of vampires can rip out an organ or a fetus to suck blood from those things then kill you.
Vampires turning into bats, wolves, snakes etc. is just crap made up by Stoker.
And NOT all vampires suck blood! there is a special kind of vampire called Psychic-vampires a.k.a. energy-vampires or Psi-vampires that suck energy/emotion/youth/souls/lifeforces instead. These kinds of vampires are more well known in Asian vampire lore mainly Japan's vampire legends.
There are clubs for real that have Sanguine (Blooddrinking) vampires and Psychic-vampires.
Sparkling is never in other vampire legends, it was just made up by Stephenie Meyers. It is the creation of a mormon housewife's lucrative teenage girl shower-nozzle masturbation fantasies put on paper.

These portrayed unique, un-stereotypical and unconventional vampires on film before or after Twilight.

lulz, yeah been wanting to give out a try to some photoshops, it's quite difficult to use but i quite get the hang of it. still, i'll stick with drawing and writing novels.XD

You should try again with manga illustrations for V-Empire and stuffs
or try colouring some drawings on photoshop
