Those are some very nice clouds, the puffy cumulonimbus and the wispy cirrostratus both. Love the noctilucent look, and the almost ominously dark undersides of the lower clouds. I like the narrative uncertainty it adds to the piece: is there a storm coming, or is there a storm clearing out? Is returning home a happy occasion, or is it fraught with stress?
Her hair is a lot more sharply detailed and with crisper edges than the rest of the piece, which has this slightly fuzzy, softer, dreamlike look to it. It's making the hair seem a bit out of place compared to everything else, but I don't think it is necessarily a problem, exactly? The reddish hair against the blue background really pops and makes it one of the main foci of the painting, drawing the eye to that point.
At first I didn't even notice the butterflies. I like it. Adds even more to the unreal, mystical quality of the piece, and to the sense of ambiguity. Is she a dream manifesting in the real world, or an illusion dissolving back into the void? Which of the characters is returning home?

When the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, how many steps will it take to get back?

I don't know what I was trying to make with her, but I got inspired by this old drawing off mine
