This looks very nice! It reminds me of the map screen of some old SNES games. I can almost tell different stages apart in there. It also makes this play in my head.

I've heard of Notch releasing Skylands as part of 1.8, but I think the Aeter really fits the bill for that.

Also, it'd be nice idea to break the illusion that diamond tools are the most strongest thing in your inventory~

That line in the sky is part of the sky, I can get rid of it, but not on a laptop.
