Redraw! Sort of. More like different angle! haha.The UPD-MBTA1 "Mountainhead" is a fairly average but very reliable TA used by UPD forces. First fielded in the Afterwar as a method of engaging maralyn infantry directly, the machine soon met its match against the much more versatile dmargo ATAs when the former allies became enemies. The Mountainhead, though incapable of going toe-to-toe with machines like the TYPE-SIREN, still was effective in anti-infantry and defensive roles.
Hardpoints on the unit's "backpack" can hold a variety of weapon mounts, ranging from rifles to missile packs. Shown is the standard 30mm autocannon variant. ECMs located inside the TA's torso render all but the most advanced guided ordinance ineffective. Most models are not equipped with an AMS, so they are still vulnerable to direct-fire munitions (but isn't any vehicle?).

Quite nice, looks like a mechafied IFV! It even has what I assume to be an MG of some kind on the right.
One thing I'm not too sure about would be the autocannons being enclosed like that or lacking muzzle devices, but lord knows how many guns I made with the same stubby and enclosed barrel aesthetic.

Niiice.
It's not too different from Solarstorm's Metal Frames, although those tend to fit more of a mixed role. Sufficient ammo capacity and armor to suppress infantry, a powerful enough primary weapon to safely engage light armor in rough terrain, and compact enough to go behind cover when the heavy armor shows up.

I've noticed a lot of military stuff pertaining to the Afterwar. I'd like to know more so where can I find a wikipedia article or some Tempesion universe equilvalent?

I've got plans in the works for an artbook just for that reason! It'll take a little while to produce, but I'll be putting it out for free as a PDF download. It'll have lots of goodies, like homeworld geographies, species information, timelines, and of course lots and lots of drawings!
