Description
When Carnage sensed it was his time to spawn a new symbiote as he himself had been spawned from Venom, he decided to kill his offspring as soon as it was born to prevent it from turning on him. Too weak to immediately kill the new symbiote, which he called Toxin, he instead allowed it to bond with New York cop Patrick Mulligan, vowing to return soon and finish the job. He underestimated the symbiote and the man however, Patrick learned to control and work with his new alien partner and defeated Carnage with Spiderman's help. Potentially far stronger than any symbiote before it, teaching Toxin to be good and resist it's natural violent urges is a responsibility that Patrick takes very seriously.
