And now, after a year of work from my first post on DeviantArt, I am very happy to show my first big project on this platform!Back in May of 2022, I started watching The Transformers G1 show on Youtube, and I noticed a similar trend with the Autobots in the show. When Optimus Prime gives the order to "Transform and roll out!" all of the Autobots around him follow him in turning into their vehicle modes and charging across the desert in one big vehicle stampede, which I thought was awesome. I stopped watching the show, so I don't know if this is true, but I have never seen all of the G1 Autobots drive out together. This was the goal of this project: to create an image of the whole G1 Autobot cast driving across the desert to fight the Decepticons or foil Megatron's plans. As I have mentioned in my second Optimus Prime post, I decided to restart the project after months of not working, because the 280ZX molds for Prowl and Bluestreak were a nightmare to deal with. I started fresh, switching to a cell shaded style, had all the windows on all the vehicles the same color blue, and overall prioritized simplicity with a bit of realism, and that allowed me to finish the project.
It has been a challenging journey to complete this project, what with high school and college taking up most of my life. So I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, all 32 of my followers, everyone who has liked my posts and my art, and the few people that have even commenting, for sticking with me from the start, and seeing this project to its end.
I have a lot of ideas for future projects coming up, so stay tuned for a mythology series, an Ultra kaiju series, more flags, more posters, and who knows, maybe even a Decepticon "Roll out" project.
