I love Harry too! He's awsome and handsome, and he IS smart. It was the PS1's limitations that made him seem dumb. He really seems smarter than Henry. Also, he loved his wife tremendously and didn't kill her because she was an INCONVENIENCE to him. Sorry to James fans, I just can't get over that about him.
He also went through Silent Hill and faced Samael for Cheryl, who wasn't even his real child. He still loved her as Heather, too. And, unlike Heather and nearly every other SH protagonist, Harry was actually nice to the others in Silent Hill, as much as he could be. I think Harry is a great guy, dad, and the best Silent Hill protagonist ever!
