I was listening to Let Me Be Surprised and I couldn't get this image out of my head, haha. Realistically Gaster would just shrug and be like guess I'm dead but whatevs. Also Healie doesn't really work for this but I just really felt like drawing Healie, don't judge me.
(though on a related note, sage actually did a more serious all dogs go to heaven thing a while ago)

His overall shapen may resamples a squid or jallyfish of somesort in some depictions, which is why I thought the creature in this picture looked like at first.

Yeah I guess that would make sense. I prefer Cthulu over other cosmic beings in the story though. Mostly because he's pretty much the best out of all of them and his ability on humans when they see him is cool too. Although I don't know why a cult would summon him if they know they're gonna go nuts and kill each other when they see him. My guess is that the cult was full of crazy dumbasses who didn't think it though.

Cultists of cthulhu worship him hopping that they will be spared when comes back.
Cultists of yog-sothoth (grandfather of cthulhu) worship him so that he will give forbidden knowledge, humans can't otherwise have.

With that description, I want it to be a movie too. I mean, not quite like the 2 All Dogs Go To Heaven movies, but that sounded like an awesome plot. Even better if he gets attached to Frisk and it makes him realize what could have been, if he'd taken a different path (kinda like he gets a little idea of what Mercyplates would have been like). But your idea is cute and it would be fun to see a comic out of it, at the very least. I'd upvote/thumbs up the comment if that was a thing here.
