Miles teg and Murbella, from the book 'Heretics of Dune'Miles teg is one of my favorite characters (and a good excuse to draw an old man and take a break from my usual subjects). Murbella just happened to be on the same piece of paper so I ended up coloring her too

Man, this is great! You really have captured the essence of the charaters. I wnt to see you do Paul Atreides. Look in all seriousnes, I want you to put together a portfolio of Dune characters and submit it to Dark Horse. I would buy a Dune comic book series if I knew you were illustrating it. 'Heretics' was definitely one of my fav of the series, second to the 1st book.

Yay for the more obscure Dune protagonist! I loved Miles though Murbella and the rest of those... her sisters (can't remember the English name for them), not so much.

I don't know what stage of the story you are picturing these characters in, but please take into account that after arriving on Chapter House, Murbella shifts her addiction from the Honored Matres' spice substitute to actual spice melange. This results in a constant blue within blue eye color (as appose to the orange flecks or cover of the eyes of a spice substitute user when agitated).
Of course it is noted that many spice addicts wear contact lenses to hide the blue shading of their eyes, I'd be quite surprised if a high level Reverend Mother would bother with the farce, especially Murbella.
All this isn't relevant if your image of Murbella is from before her capture.
Also, please note that this reply serves to call attention to my nerdiness and my current excess of free-time.
I like your work, Teg is spot on as far as my imagination is concerned. Looking forward to future Dune related works.
