This is a thingy I made since I find it easier to have something visual like this when I'm writing.

On the X-Men First Class kink meme, two people asked for an x-men/Avatar cross over, with Charles as the Avatar.

The actual story for this will be up... at some point.

Benders, those few who can manipulate the elements, have gradually deteriorated over the centuries. They're nothing more than myth now, and many of the newer generations don't even know they once existed.
The benders who are left are alone, believing themselves to be freaks and that hiding is the only option. As the world grew more resentful of them, and eventually forgot about them, benders in turn grew secretive and silent.
Where was the Avatar when all this was happening? Nearly a thousand years prior an Avatar was killed while in the Avatar State, breaking the cycle. It was this death that sparked the change and gradual extinction of benders.
But the Earth healed in that time, and a new line of Avatar was created. The first of which being Charles Xavier. With only a weak link with the previous line of Avatars, Charles sets out to restore benders to their former glory and to do this, he gathers up benders from each element: Air, Water, Earth and Fire.
Obviously things do not work out as planned.
