That was a workout!
I came up with a story premise for this fusion - but it contains some spoilers for both franchises. So here's a:
SPOILER WARNING for Kill la Kill and Avatar/Legend of Korra.
"Ryuko and Satsuki were born as twin Avatars - each infused with one of the sibling spirits, Senketsu and Junketsu. Unsure of how to train two Avatars, their caretakers raised them in separate Water Tribes. But when Ryuko's father was mysteriously killed, she discovered her powerful ability to bloodbend - and embarked for the Northern Water Tribe to avenge her father's death."
At first I wasn't sure how to translate the revealing costumes of KLK into the traditional outfits in LOK - especially since Ryuko's costume is black and red. I considered using brown pelts to emulate the red, but decided on making both a characters a shifted blue tone, so they would match. Regarding the composition, it was totally accidental that it ended up resembling Yin Yang - I was just going for a balanced and contained look. So it was a really fun surprise to stop for a moment and go, "Oh hey, that's a pretty cool composition! Who knew?"
Quite an adventure to draw this one - very pleased having reached the end. Hope you all are too.

Hm... I feel like those two would be best as Firebenders, honestly, with Satsuki pulling it off more like Azula did.
But the art here's fantastic. I like how they're each using the same element but in entirely different ways. Other than the swords, of course.

And yeah, firebending was my first choice too - the energy and movement style is really fitting. But then I remembered (avatar/korra spoilers for anyone else reading) that waterbending leads to bloodbending and blood is exactly what powers the kamui. And I just really liked how that lined up.

True, water could definitely be called more thematically appropriate... and the harshness and unbending nature of ice next to the freedom and softness of water match the contrast between Satsuki and Ryuko really well.
Also, I only now noticed how you used beads in place of Ryuko's highlights. Nice attention to detail.

This is really cool. I like that Ryuko's sword looks rougher and more utilitarian than Satsuki's elegant jian. I also like that Satsuki is using cold, hard ice while Ryuko's riding on a wave of freeflowing water. Fitting, considering their respective personalities.

Great analysis! Yeah, since I knew I wanted to make them both Water Benders, I looked for every opportunity to make them appear different. Like their costumes as well - Satsuki in a very formal, teal dress - and Ryuko in a more hand-made near-purple getup. Really cool to hear that all elements came together for you.

The Gallian Rebel Alliance led by Princess Leia, with the help of EW1 hero Sir General Kenobi, his squire the Ace Pilot Luke, while the scoundrel Han and his very hairy Darscen BFF smuggle them supplies and ignoring the Mechanical Chamberlain C-3PO complains while the loyal Maintenance bot Beeps profanity at his stuck up friend.
The idea kinda snowballed a little.ย

Here's a kinda synopsis of the world of Valkyria Wars (That's what I'm calling it.)
25 years ago the Europa continent was set ablaze by civil war. The Old Republic torn in two by the Separatist Federation whose industrialist founders led by Count Dooku used terrible war machines powered by Ragnite in an effort to destroy the old Democracy.
With the help of the Order of Jedi Knights a group that had stood valiantly in defence of the innocent since before the time of Valkyria their connection to the mystic powers of the Force helped turn the tide in the Republic's defence. But they where all of them deceived by the Sith. Ancient enemy of the Jedi.
They had used both sides to weaken the Jedi's number rendering them near extinct by the time the Republic was victorious. Thus the Order was powerless when the newly reunited continent was renamed the Europa Empire, promises of Sovereignty to nations such as Gallia forgotten by the newly crowned Emperor. The Jedi tried to rebuild their number in hopes of fighting this tyranny but they where betrayed by one of there own, who helped the Emperor hunt down and destroy the Knights casting aside his old name and dubbed Darth Vader who serves as the Emporor's enforcer even now despite the grave wounds that confine him to live with life supporting armour.ย
Now the only hope for freedom is the brave Rebel Alliance with Leia Organa of Alderaan andย Archduchess Cordillia of Gallia leading their fellow freedom fighters such as the Militia Squad 7ย and brave volunteer pilots like Luke Skywalker and his Jedi teacher Obi-Wan, plus the aide of scoundrels Han Solo and his Darcen companion the long haired Chewbacca.
Hopefully they will be enough against the Emperor's own son Maximilian, and his cohorts who has been tasked to deal with them, but should Vader or the likes of Grand Marshall Tarkin and Grand Admiral Thrawn came to the Prince's aide the whole Alliance could be in jeopardy but that is not the only danger
Rumours of a vast ship armed with a Valkyrur based cannon capable of destroying entire city's have began to spread across the country, and time will tell if the rag tag Rebel army can face such a terrible superweapon and win. Or if fear will continue to reign.
Hope remains but will it be enough?ย

Whoaw! That's fantastic! What a complete narrative - and the writing got me totally caught up in the story. You fulfilled the Star Wars story by only using elements of Valkyria Chronicles very nicely.
This sounds grim, but I particularly like idea of the Valkyrur cannon demolishing a city in a single blast, as appose to a planet in a single blast. Even though the Death Star is impressive, getting to see the wake of a destroyed city among an otherwise untouched landscape is a powerful image.
Well done! You should totally post this and add it to your collection of literature submissions - it's really entertaining to read.

I feel like I should clarify one last detail. Lightsaber's are normal seized in my SW/VC idea. I probably don't need to say that it's just Valkyria games in recent time has gotten into the oversized weapon's trope.
As fun as it would be to see Vader wielding a buster sword it would just be too ridiculous to be intimidating, plus it would prevent really a awesome hallway moments.ย

You could add Thrawn as Darcsen imperial Admiral too. (Their a people discriminated against in the game, even more so in the Empire Faction. So his backstory applies in Chronicles. Further proof that this is a perfect match up.) ย

Oohhh - I hadn't considered the reverse. Ryuko and Satsuki can certainly make the jump to more clothing. But I'm quite sure Korra would be too shy or too angry to agree putting something like that on.
