    Climate
Zevila pretty much have the same atmosphere Earth have. The only difference is some minor temperature differences. And the fact Zevila has far more shifting weather due to the gas giant it orbit. It causes total eclipses on the moon which have huge temperature effects in the upper layers of the atmosphere. The eclipses last very short but enough to have a minor effect. This leads to a very unpredictable weather system. The planet is also very stormy, allot of rain and water in the atmosphere. This leads to more hurricanes than usual on Earth. Most of the forests are rain-forests due to this weather. So the planet has rich forests.

    Geology
Zevila has a geology slightly more active than Earth due to tidal forces from Meverys. This leads to a bit more volcanic activities and a slight bigger chance of earthquakes near the tectonic plate borders. But Zevila is also heavily rich in various resources, far more than Earth. It has made the modern Fizarian era very wealthy and powerful. There is mines everywhere. But this has also lead to allot of regions were the soil is yet to get habitable by plants so there is allot of wet deserts. Wastelands with no plants were it rains commonly. Most of the planet is pretty tropical compared to earth due to the tidal heating.

    Life
Zevila has allot of life, mostly in the type of flora. The floral and fauna life is not very diverse due to the way life exist on Zevila. Life was planted on this planet artificially by an unknown ancient race around 10 000 years ago. Since that date they kept on adding genetically modified life for a few 1000 years. All is genetically modified life from earth in the form of fauna and flora. The Fizarians which are modified humans were added last 3000 years ago. Then this race left the planet alone with as least traces as possible. Before that this planet was lifeless. It just had the good conditions for life to exist but life were not evolved on this planet yet.

As said earlier the planet is pretty wet and got covered in rain-forests. In these forests life thrive, especially Fizarians. They were created for these conditions of climbing trees to avoid trouble in the start. But of course these curious creates were just like humans in their heads. Kept on exploring and discovering new ways to live. Even faster than humans due to lack of dark age and a whole different religious view created due to the way they exist.
They already had the 3000 year old human knowlegde from their human ancestors who had foot on this planet before birthing their modified offsprings. But the normal humans were sterilized so they could not reproduce themselves further. Which caused only the fizarians to survive in the end. Now covering the planet in massive cyberpunk cities with vastly growing populations.

    Misc
This planet belongs to the closed species Fizarians

This is my art and dont copy it in any way or use it in any way without asking me. This is for a closed species.

Update:
Re-upload fixing the clouds. They were not visible enough so it seemed like it barely were any rain. This is meant to be a wet planet with allot of weather so here it is fixed for that fact.

Update2:
Re-upload with a proper citylight texture on nightside... I recreated the entire texture from bottom up with a more realistic looking one that is more correct.

I know this is kinda a older post but I've just recently seen it, and the planet looks very nice! I love how detailed the information is too in the description. Great job! Your work here on DA has always caught me with interest ^-^

From here I see a much more friendly land-water ratio, also its more like a continental archipelago, so maybe its a bit more stormy, but after all the oceans can balance land temperatures, so values doesnt go on a rollercaster

Nope they doesn't. The planet is meant to be a bit more tropical and wet than earth but not too much.

I think this looks pretty nice, although you might want to beef the clouds up a bit due to the large quantities of water vapor in the moon's atmosphere.

Is the gas giant a Sudarsky Class III or a gas dwarf/ice giant like Neptune?

I have also fixed the clouds now... Their visibility were a bit crap so I put it up.

It is a cold gas giant. I designed the whole fizarian solar system in Space Engine to more easily organize it and make it more realistic as it simulates tidal forces, mass, gravities, orbits, atmosphere compositions, greenhouse effects and more...

Also some concept art you might find interesting that I've worked on today for a future artwork concept art...

I have loved this idea for a while and doodled allot around with it.

Ah.  That explains why the planet isn't a fried husk due to the radiation belts.  Thanks for the clarification.

Hmm, not bad.  It might work well with a Stirling engine because you could keep all of the associated plumbing on the moving portions of the structure and conduct electricity through slip rings.

Yo listen up here's a story
About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees
Is just blue like him inside and outside...

Come on.

Grate picture!
Theres so much blue!
Is that a meteor crater on the planet?

Zefnoly In reply to kingdragon01 [2017-03-31 14:06:09 +0000 UTC]

It might be. I used Space Engine to generate the surface for me. I just put in some parameteres I found in some of the random generated ones I found that I saw suiting for my home-planet. And then changed the seed a little to make it different. Also adjusted the colors of it to suit me. In the past images the colors where all wrong and dark so it seemed like all the forests had very dark blue colors but the trees and plants on their planet is green like on earth so it was wrongly set. Many creatures shared the blue skin color with the fizarians tho due to the higher copper amounts in food on the planet. If a human lived here they could potentially end up with a few blue colors as well.

Sounds interesting!
I like how many of the animals are blue colored!
On my planet, most of the plants have blue leaves!

I guess certain plants have other colors as well. I have thought of bioluminescent as well because of the regular total eclipses from the gas giant darkening the whole planet.
