Description
Inside the earth, far too deep from the outer world for a beam of light to ever reach the innerst of its tunnels,
an entire ecosystem has developed truly isolated, reigned only by rocky walls and eternal darkness.
But every once in a circle of years, there appears a glare of inexplainable energy to cloak the walls and ceilings in unusual brightness,
drawing many of those souls gifted with a part of it towards itself like the prey those were to hunt with their own inner light,
them never to return from the other side...
...a balance to be restored once again.
The light will vanish, for another circle, just another routine.

The species depicted here is totally made up, similarities to existing speciesseses are coincidental.
