Description
This was a present for a friend of mine, who also made me a lovely present. I just had to repay her and so she requested an artwork of Mario and Peach togheter. And how many romantic images I got of them in my head. This artwork is one of the images of them in my head that I choosed and couldn´t resist to do. This is the result and as you can see, they´re having a romantic evening cuddle.This drawing was also a big step for me in many ways as well. Since I now can draw Mario, there are so many possibilities ahead now and this truly was one of them. And another thing, I also wished to work on a good background too. I know the fountain stones and such needs alot of improvement. But to be honest, what I really worked on in this background, was the water. The element water is something amazing, beautiful, mystical but hard to master in art it seems. I´m truly not an expert in coloring, but I wish to master one thing that both hypnotises me and inspires me so, water. In this pic the water done by me is the best I´ve done so far. It was hard but it was worth it beacuse water is simply too beautiful.
Other, this artwork took some time to do cause of I decided to work a little extra on this, I mean you can improve your art skills with doing presents for other and it really is a good practice. But I also got an artblock in the middle of the process and so it all stoopped for a time. I really apologize for that but now finally the artwork is done and I´m proud of the results and I´m also glad a present for a friend is also finally finnished.

I seem to have succeeded with coloring this artwork but there are also room for alot of improvements too.
Other, their pose was something I just had to get down and simply had to do. I had this image in my head before I started and I thought they were too cute too resist and too sweet to ignore. I´m so glad I succeeded getting that image down on paper and into this artwork even tough it was hard and a little bit blurry.
I´m also glad I got down a background this time too.

There are no words that can describe how wonderful this present is!
When I first looked at it, it just litritaly took my breath away. I'm actually writing this with tears in my eyes on how thoughtful and sweet this is!

I love that there're stealing a romantic moment in this pic. It's sort of like it's after Mario has rescued Peach and they've gone back to her castle and are having a walk in the gardens.

Really glad you like it for it was indeed made for you.
And indeed, I couldn´t rush this piece and request. Now when I can draw Mario I simply had to use him all I could and so I drew them this way. I´m really happy I suceeded. And I coudn´t agree more of your preception of the story in this. After a walk in the garden they sit down at the fountain at the lake with the sparkling lights of the night sky and the lantern, they sit down and Mario takes Peach to rest in his arms, sweeping her off her feet, and so they cuddle.
The image I had of it in my head was just too sweet to resist. I´m so glad I was able to get it down into this. And lol indeed, the hearts was a hints and symbold for their cuddle and how they showed such love and all to each other. ^^
And the water was something I really also wanted to put my hert and soul into. You see, I´ve for so long wanted to master the hypnotising and mystery art of coloring water, to create water, to picture its mystery and beauty. I think I´ve improved alot and I´m really satisfued on how it came out in this artwork. And yes, the sparkles had a big role in the water in this artwork as well. They´re meant to reflect the light from the lantern and all the shining stars in the evening sky.

And you're right, water is mystical. It's what cats peer into, staring back at the feline in the reflection...

Ha ha, I´m planning to write a fanfic inspired by the samshbros games where there will be plenty of rooms for me to write romantic moments with my fav characters and couples so it´s kind of an upcoming work and thing for me.
And by looking at the imaginary image I had in my head, and all the moments and sweet moments in the real games. I mean, Mario is truly a real prince in shining armour despite his looks and all (who cares about outside looks anyway). I mean, he truly has a heart of gold, and no matter what happens and no matter where Peach dissaears into, he will never leave her side and will never stop until he finds her. And then Mario is also italian, that´s also another little bonus.
But most of all, Peach couldn´t have it any better than with Mario.
This is one of the things I wanted to picture and had in my head when creating this artwork.
And trust me, for me water is art and poetry. Water is truly the mystery and beauty. This is why I love this element so much plus that it inspires me so.

You're defantily right about Mario. He may not be the usual percption of a great hero, but Peach can see beyond that and what he truly is inside, and no matter what, he'll always love her. And you've definitely captured that feeling in my pic.
Though I do have a message for Mario and Peach. GET. MARRIED. OR. MOVE. IN. TOGETHER. ALREADY.
LOL but I have thought about how they get engaged and married which I'm going to write in the future.
And in terms of elements, I like the fire and metal elements because they sound cool.

Thanks alot, but it´ll take a time to write. I´ve started planning and such a little but it´s only the beginning on a big writing projekt of mine. Oh gosh, I really do write to much, ha ha. XD
And about Mario, I didn´t only mean that Peach can see who he really is and all. But I think that all should because Mario truly is very sweet guy with a very big heart, this is why Peach deserves him and o course, Mario desrves her, they´re truly perfect and made for each other. It´s the same with Luigi x Daisy and Link x Zelda.
But in this case, I mean, how can someone not love Mario!
And awwwwww, they really should get married to each other. And Peach would be the one making the wedding cake. I mean she loves baking, espcially cakes. And I think she would love to bake such a splendid cake which is meant for her and the soulmate of hers. XD
And lol, as we speak I can almost see it in front of me too. XD
I think all the four elements are awesome and interesting. But my favs are water and wind, I also love the nature and all.

Yeah, I know what you mean about Mario. And of course, they do deserve each other. And a cookie. With M&Ms in it. And milk. (LOL I don't know what I was writing there about cookies! Maybe that means they really deserve each other!)
Either Peach or someone else should bake the cake. Peach for the reasons you said above or maybe Toad or that Toad cook from Paper Mario just to give Peach a break becuase it is her wedding day after all!
But for now, we'll just have to play the waiting game on their engagement. Or they could just move in together. It's their choice.
Actually, there are more than four elements in this world. They are earth, air, water, fire, wood, metal, ice, light, dark, space and lighting. But which of these elements makes up the phases varies by culture (like in China and Japan, instead of earth, air, fire and water, it's earth, metal, fire, wood and water)

But as said, Mario and Peach are truly made for eachother. Plus, they can´t get enough of eachother and truly loves eachother so they can likely marry as well. XD
From what I´ve learned from the games, Peach loves cooking and she really LOVES baking cakes. That is why I believe she´d love to bake their wedding cake, espcially when she´ll think about Mario.
I dunno what kind of religion or beliefs japan and China has but the four basic elemtns can never be beaten. Yes, the other things are elements too. But it is the four basic that is most reqiured for all living things.
But there is also a fifth such element, and that is said to be love.
