It finally happened! I was able to use blender for a class assignment! This tooth brush was made for my advanced technical graphics class.The basic assignment was to create a 3d object from a 2d image (what I do constantly using blender). The program wasn't specified, and in fact the instructor encouraged me to use blender. So I did and this is what I got. This was developed from a patent for the ornamental design of the tooth brush. Frankly though this beat the guitars and riffles modeled in auto cad hands down…

Well... we only had too weeks and the last thing I wanted to do was make something that was too awesome and not it complete on time. Also when I found the patent that contained views from all angles I knew I could really make an accurate copy. I also had the chance to do a quick blender demonstration for the class when I presented the project.
My next project for that class will be an instruction packet and video on creating a paper-craft mother ship from home world. And I am using blender once again.
