I promised myself today that I would get this pic done before the day was out, and it is now... *checks* 11:20 pm, so I made it! ^.^;;; This would be one of the rare times I've inked and coloured a pic all in one day, but this was important coz I've got no uni work at the moment, so I had to use the time I had to complete this! Anyway, this is my half of a trade with the talented Allytha of her lovely character Myurina - she's a Rivnian, which is one of the species that Allytha's created, so don't anyone be saying she's a Siren or an angel! O_- This pic has wound up a bit different from what I was intending.... Myurina was supposed to be singing and the ocean sorta brewing up as she sang (since Myurina's element is water) but for some reason, I threw in all those light effects so now it looks like Myurina's casting a spell.... O___o;;; Well er... I'll let you all decide what you prefer. This is also the first time I've drawn water since my Halcyon pic *points to the right* which is like, two years... so if the water looks crap, I assure you that I already know! This also marks the first time I've drawn er... well, a semi-naked female character... ^.^;;; it's just that clothes for the upper body in this pic didn't seem to work! *Coff* Anyway I hope you like this, Allytha, and thankyou again for the wonderful pic! (If you haven't seen the pic Allytha drew for me, do it now! Now I say! And check out her gallery too while you're at it... *pokes everyone with a broom*)Myurina is copyrighted to ! EDIT: Got rid of that smudge across the sun... it was annoying me no end! ^.^;;

The water looks sort of strange... like gelatin. I guess the ends splashing up shouldn't be so rounded, that would help. And it might be a little TOO blue, perhaps a greyish-greenish-blue next time? Unless the ocean there is really really nice... o.o I've only ever seen it that blue once, and when it splashed up in the air it was clearish. Don't sweat it too much, though, water is really goddamned hard to color and draw.
It DOES look like she's casting a spell! X3 Singing and gathering energy in her hand. That's okay, of course. The wrinkles in her skirt look pretty nice. A bit strange up near her lower belly, but the rest of it is lovely and fluffy and everything.

I love the motion in this piece - the way the hair and clothes and feathers flow works very well with the ocean spray. ^^; I like the way she seems to be casting a spell - it really brings a different focus into the piece.

i loves it all very much the lighting is amazing and the mtion in the skirt and the wings is aswome i love the anatomy done very very well. i just wanna know if the backround is your or something you picked up. just hinking if it is yours it would have looked a little more fitting to do some hints of orange or yellow in the water of the picture so that it would better the backround. i mean it all works it just to me seems a little off. other then that you beat me out of the water anyday.

Great job on the stunning detail, and I really like the lensflare. The sparkles flowing out the sun looks great too; overall this is highly impressive looking. The way the waves crash against the rock, the pose, the billowing hair - all of it looks fantastic. Wonderful job once again!

My god thats beautiful. You never cease to amaze me when it comes to your melee of colors and inks. It does look as if she's casting a spell but theres also the emotion of power and feeling that comes from the waves and the setting sun. Her wings are so beautiful and they intensify drama as well..good show!

far man is that detailed! when i first saw it, i had to adjust my eyes to it cause it was so good! seriously! you know i just thought of the perfect job for your talent. a tattoo artist! think about it. there would be a lot of people that would want their tattoos to be that detailed! anyway, that is some excellent stuff and there is a reason why i love your stuff and do not fave it if in case you were wondering. it is because if i faved one, i would have to fave all of the other deviations that you have up. they're all just so good! anyway, since there isn't any uni anymore for a while, keep it up!
