hide and seek with our duties...

]-[eng]--------------------------------------------------------Second of the series of photos taken at Ostia's harbour, Rome, with my girlfriend. I had much more shots to post, but now I don't know if I'll post more from this photographic session.
To make this one, my shy Michela had to use all her might! I won't ever thank her enough to be so patient with me and keep supporting my passion for photography even when I'm making her do something against her habits!

]-[ita]--------------------------------------------------------Questa è la seconda foto della serie scattata con la mia ragazza al Porto di Ostia, Roma. Avevo molte altre foto da postare, ma sinceramente ora non so se ne metterò altre di questa sessione.
Per fare questa foto, la mia timida Michela ha dovuto raccogliere tutto il suo coraggio! Non potrò ma ringraziarla abbastanza per essere così paziente con me e per il continuo supporto che dà a me e alla mia passione per la fotografia, anche quando significa andare contro alle sue "abitudini"!

Thanks again for your appreciation! If you think Rome isn't a messy place, you're very far from reality! It is really hard to find "clean" places (both in the meaning of "not dirty" and "not crowded"). I often have to wake up early or to go out just a moment before it stops raining (like in this case

More than right! The "pageview" is just a counter, the feedback and appreciation of your friends and fellow artists is the great thing about this stuff. No surprise that a lot of people are obsessed by the dimension of their pageviews, just like with their "penis" (excuse me mate, but that's just me!

wow how did you get the colours to look so cool? unless it was just weird lighting

It was both editing and lightning, and also the tones of the street. Being the pedestrian walkline of a tone similar to red-violet, I used an overlay of that colour to euqalize the light. It was a lucky finding, since the yellows of the archs and the grey weather resulted in a more interesting tonal range.

Grazie Giorgio! Ci voleva proprio! Io sono troppo misantropo! (almeno per quanto riguarda la fotografia!) Mi piacerebbe davvero molto cominciare a studiare di più il ritratto e la composizione di foto con figure umane... mi affascina! Soprattutto mi rapisce il rapporto così intenso che c'è in alcune foto tra l'espressività umana e la natura!

In quanto a misantropia in fotografia sono abbastanza portato: la figura umana nelle mie foto appare di rado e non è mai studiata,ma apprezzo certe foto con la presenza della figura umana!
