two layers, actually! The background is separate. Dunno if that makes me less amazing, a liar, or both. But I find it easier to paint as much as needed on one layer.

I love the title you gave her. Pallescent Mourner sounds beautiful (but sad ;^
I like to call her BPM (because of reasons) but many people now call her Bec Mendicant or Bec Blanc ._.
But alhajkhsf the shading, the texture of her fur and wings, the FACE, omg that face is just so cute, and pure, and she's the total opposite of Jack.
Overall, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT JOB!
