Um...I dunno...he looks too much like a vampire than the cold and calculating badass he's supposed to be.  Then again...you got the style right for the most part.  Maybe it's just the scarf that throws me off a little.

Agreed Largo is a total badass. Largo always creeped me out though and I wanted to do a design that reflected that creepy a bit more. Also I thought that Brian Mason was just egotistical enough that if he was going to be 'reborn' he would represent himself as he would have looked in his 20's.

Yeah, Red Eyes was my favorite out of the original series.  I loved how he walked into the boardroom, surrounded by boomers and just confronts Qunicy and Madigan as if he were just ordering dinner at some restaurant instead facing certain death (well, they thought he was facing certain death, he was probably laughing at them internally).

As for Crash...I dunno...it was okay for a follow-up, but you can tell something was different (I think they switched animation companies or artists) and the style just didn't seem to match up to the original.

And then there was 2040....and I'll just pretend it never happened (though I did like the 2040 Nene's personality, but she shouldn't have been a blonde).

Crash was definitely missing something you are right. It just didn't have the same feel as the original. 2040 wasn't too bad, it has it's going points but totally inferior to the original.
