entry 2567
local date: undefined
dimensional coordinates: uncalculated
Location: Ponyville
dimensional status: start stage 1 withdrawal

"I know these electronic journals are suppose to be for scientific data and other such details but given my current location and knowing my self, I'm going to end up doing something to get my self killed. So to any one who finds this, if it hasn't been broken by the creatures that currently roam or the ones that will roam, keep this safe. This journal and the others will be invaluable to you and future generations in the coming years and believe me, you'll need all the help you can get. If you couldn't guess from the name inscribed on the cover my name is Silver Sparkle. I am an inter-dimensional traveler, my purpose is, was to gather data on the dimensions that exists in the multiverse and record the variations and events that occur in them, maybe predict where our world is headed and try to prevent it. But they can't prevent this, others have tried. I've seen many things in my time, some were great, some were horrible and so far, this takes the cake. I've never been around for a stage one withdrawal, I've only heard of it from the survivors or what records survived in stage two and three. But by far this is the most nightmarish of the five, the rest are horrible in their own ways but this, this will haunt me if I get out of here alive. Oh look, there gos the girl I've been mistaken for being related too, I'd take a picture but there's not that much space left and I'd like to get in as much writing as I can, any way you'll seen her in the regular archives of the journals. Just look for the section titled 'Student to the Princess'. You know, this is the first time that I've seen her alive in a world like this, most have told me she was one of the first to go. Something must be different, something in this world does not follow the pattern. Is it the undead? Is it the girl her self? What ever it is I'll be sure to find out, or at least try." End of Entry

The metal latch on the journal clicked as it was shut, the green glow around it lifting it from the ground into the open saddle bag worn by the brown stallion. Silver shut the bag with his left wing  and tucked in back under the bag. He looked to the hordes of undead on the ground from his roof top vantage point. The green glow of his horn fading into the dark of the dieing town. His red eyes surveying the lumbers masses of undead mares. In all honesty, he was scared of this place, this was a type of world he never wished to visit but he had no say in that matter. He never knew what world he'd be jumping to next so it was bound to happen eventually, all he could do was hope it wouldn't. His blue main stood up as he heard a shuffling sound behind him. Have they found me already? He thought as he turned to the dark door way that had lead to the inside of the abandon building. Fucking idiot, you should have shut that door. He stomped on the roof, ready to charge at the ghoul coming through. He angled his head down so he could stab it on his horn once in sight. "H-hello?" A small voice squeaked. Silver looked up to see a pale purple coated filly walking into what little light there was. "C-can you help me?" She asked, her blond mane shifting in front of her eyes. Silver looked to her for a minute before turning back to watch the ground below. "Probably not, I'm still weak from my jump. What do you need help with Dinky?" He asked, turning his head slightly. Dinky jumped slightly and stepped back. "H-how did you know my name?" she asked. He chuckled. "sorry, it's a habit, lets just say, I've met you quite a few times, just not you." She gave him a confused look. "So, what is it you need help with?"He asked again. She was hesitant to answer. "w-well i-it's just, i-it's so scary. C-can you make it go away."She sniffled. Silver chuckled and shook his head some. "sorry, but this is something I can't stop, no one could stop this." He looked over to her, his eyes just giving her a cold stare. "N-not even-" "not even the princesses." He said looking back to the ground.

She looked down and walked over to him, sitting next to him. "the best anyone can do, is survive." She looked up at him, a confused look on her face. "any-'one'?"she asked. He chuckled and gently pat her on the head. "another habit, you see, not everyone says 'everypony' or 'somepony'. 'Everyone' and 'someone' are more, general terms, they cover any creature in any speech while the 'pony' part refers to people like us." Silver explained, looking to see if it help. It didn't, she still looked confused. "peepol?"She asked, this word being a bit more foreign than the others. "people, this ones a word, it basically covers anything that can talk and think like us, so dragons, cows, sheep, they would fall under the category of 'people'." She looked down, still confused. He smiled and gently turned her away from the edge of the roof. "you, may want to cover your ears." He said. "Wh-why?"She asked, her question soon answered by a blood chilling scream. Dinkys eyes dilated and she turned to see what it was but Silver stopped her. She looked up to him and he shook his head. "Believe me, you don't want to see this." He said, the screams fading, replaced by the sounds of flesh being torn and bones cracking. Dinky sat there shaking, it was to late to cover her ears. Once things fell back to the low growls and shambling steps of the undead Dinky looked back up at him then turned to see what had happened, he didn't stop her this time. She gasped in horror and gagged some. She turned, getting up and stumbling away. "If I stopped you the first time, then the second time shouldn't have been any different." Silver said. "Wh-why didn't you stop them?"Dinky gagged.

He looked down at the bloody body as it slowly shook and stood once again, the cutie mark on it's flank nothing more than half a skull, the rest gone with the torn flesh. "I can't, I'm weak right now, I can barely even lift my journal let alone anything that would be deadly to these ghouls." He said. "I'm probably the most useless pers... pony here right now." He looked to her, she had finally emptied her stomach by now. He looked down to the hoards and sighed. "If, you can point me to Sugarcube Corner, I'll try and get you something to help ease your stomach." Silver stood up and started to take his bag off. Dinky looked to him. "Wh-what would they have to help with, with this?"She asked, pointing her hoof to where the dead pony had once laid. He shook his head. "no, to help with your nausea, believe me, you'll want to barf as little as possible." He got his bag off and stretched his wings, popping them a few times as he looked around. "Y-you're an alicorn..." Dinky said walking over to him. "B-but I thought only the prin-" "In this world they are." He interrupted, having heard this several time already. "You see, where I come from, it's the earth ponies that are rare, alicorns are as common as any of the others." He looked around some then back to Dinky. "so where is it?" Dinky looked down and then pointed to where the once cheerful store is located. He nodded and flapped his wings a few times. "if they come for you, run, don't try and take my bag just book it till you collapse and when you do, try and collapse some where safe." He flapped his wings as he slowly lifted off the ground. "stay low, stay alive, the less zombies we have shambling around the better the survival rate." He flew off for Sugarcube corner.

It didn't take him long to find it, it stood out like it did in any other world. He circled the place a few times, seeing if there was a safe way in. There was an open window on the top floor. He flew in through the window and quietly landed on the floor, his eyes scanning the dark room for any movement. "Alright, safe so far." He whispered. Jumping slightly he turned and looked to the window, he had felt something, something powerful. Shaking it off he looked back to the darkness of the room he was in. "lets see if I've got enough juice to do this." He closed his eye and concentrated. His horn glowed a green aura, the tip sparking some. "just a little more, come on Silver you can do it." He grumbled, the end of his horn sparked a few more times before there was a solid ball of light, filling the room with a dim light. Silver looked around the room, panting some. "well, it's not flashlight but I can see." He said walking around, the rooms floor and walls were splattered with blood. He shivered some and shook his head. "the poor little tikes never saw it coming, all they thought was mommy and daddy coming to play." He made his way out of the blood covered bedroom and to the hall, even there he couldn't escape the heavy stench of death. As he made his way down the hall, not daring to peek into any room he passed he saw nothing but blood smears and the occasional clump of flesh. As he walked down the stairs he passed a bib, stopping briefly before continuing. "the place must have been packed, this is too much blood for just two kids and three adults." He stopped, he could hear a low growl and heavy hoof beets on the wood floor. Silver took a step back, at the edge of the light he saw the shambling silhouette of one of the Cakes. He backed up slowly, not wanting to find out which one it was. Looks like I'm going around. He thought to him self, heading back up the stairs. He made his way back to the open window and flew out. He circled the place a few more times before landing on the ground. He looked to the door, hesitant to go in through the front. He looked around him before pushing open the doors. "what a shocker, blood covered floors." He grumbled in sarcasm. Entering the building he looked around, no dead around here. Smiling Silver made his way to the kitchen and quickly looked around. "Ginger, ginger, ginger, where is it." He stomped and looked around the rest of the kitchen. "there's got to be something here I can use." He kept walking around, the light of his horn starting to flicker. "Just a little longer, just a little, ah! That'll do it." He said quickly going to get a bag. Returning he set the bag down and opened it. He started to pack as many gingersnap cookies as he could into the bag. The room went dark as the light finally flickered out. Silver cursed to him self and after a few attempts couldn't get his horn to light back up. "Fuck my life." He grumbled. Closing the bag and picking it up he headed for the door, using only the light coming through the windows to see. Out of the kitchen he made a straight line for the door, freezing as he heard gun fire. Guns? Here? But, who? He looked out the window but couldn't find anything. He stood still for a minute, hearing a few more shots. I better get going, if I can hear it then so can the Cakes. He thought, looking to the darkness of the shop. He made his way out the door and took off, not even trying to find the source of the noise.

After a few minutes of flying he landed on the roof where he had left Dinky and his bag. "Dinky, I'm back." He said putting the bag down and looking around. "Dinky?" He asked walking around, trying to find the little filly. "H-here."she squeaked, coming out of his bag. He stood there a second and looked to his bag. "wow, didn't think I had enough room in there for you to fit." He said going over to her. "Y-you didn't, I, got rid of the metal box in it." She said, kicking the flat bag off her leg. Silver looked at the bag and then to her. "wh, where?"He asked. She pointed to the journal on the other side of the roof. He sighed and went over to get it. "please, don't do that again. I'd rather not lose this. It's pretty important." He picked it up with his mouth, this being quite difficult due to the journals smooth surface. With some help from Dinky he was able to get it into the bag. "I'm sorry." She said looking down. Silver smiled and pat her on the head. "it's ok, you didn't know."He said. She looked up to him and smiled some. He gave her a nod and motioned towards the bag. "I brought you some gingersnaps, don't eat too many though." He said before going near the edge of the roof and sitting down. "why did you bring me cookies?" Dinky asked, confused by how sweets would help with her nausea. "well, they have ginger in them and ginger helps keep the stomach calm, it's not going to make you feel completely better but it should help. But again, only eat one, you'll want them to last." He looked out to the streets, watching the undead shamble about, looking for their next victims.
