Here's what I got on the armbands, basic pattern courtesy of Trujin via the pattern posted in this thread.

I've worked out that the band probably uses 03/0 size Japanese (Toho) seed beads measuring 5.5 mm in diameter and about 3.9mm tall. With the pattern given, 8 beads tall, this means the beads are 30-ish mm tall. plus another 5mm blue border on each side the armband is 40-ish mm (4cm). Given the scaling of the bow being approx. 2" thick and the scale of his arm seems about right with a pattern repetition of four.

Note: there is a size difference between czech and japanese seed beads--find the MM SIZES. Anyway, fool around with it and it ought to work.

The beads are offset--you can clearly see this in multiple pics. The stitch is a Gourd (Peyote) stitch illustrated.

Also, the stitch that secures the beads to the blue cloth will clean up that sawtooth-like gap in the off-set bead pattern--use white thread and it should look like a clean straight edge.
