Description All the cool kids are doing it?!

I ran across the pixel ID trend a few days ago and just had to get in on it. I'm a huge fan of fighting games anyway so to get a chance to try my first pixel pic and make a ID for myself as a fighting game character was just too fun to pass up.

This just happens to coincide with my current Guilty Gear kick (been playing a whole lot of GGXX as of late) so I went for something akin to that style. Also, I did the whole thing in Photoshop if anyone is wondering.

If every last one of you ID makers was a MUGEN developer as well... we'd have one badass game on our hands!!! Especially yours...it looks like it's already IN a game! **wants to create one as well, but really has to get better at drawing first**

Thanks! I really wanted it to feel like it was ripped right out of a game (I was playing a lot of Guilty Gear XX when I did it). I'm happy people are seeing it that way.

This is one of the best pixel IDs I've seen so far. The pixel work is so smooth, and the sprite's pose is awesome -- love the hand.

This is great, by far one of my favs! I love the sword! I did mine in a GG style as well. I love those games waaaay to much. Alot of money had been spent on those at the arcades!

The "How Too" link will break down the format that's being used to make them all uniform, and should have the basic info you need to get started.

The hardest (most fun for me anyway) part will be making the character sprite. You'll literally be building the image pixel by pixel (use the pencil tool on the smallest settling).
