My favorite scene from Pinocchio, when he meets the horrible Fox and Cat. This illustration is 1 of 3 that I created for my final project in my degree- Which I have officially finished now!(c) Toby Allen 2013

Really awesome. The figures are adorable, and the colors are so bright and full of energy. Oh my...
This genre is definitely not my field, but as a viewer, I find the details on Pino's face kinda hard to see, especially the mouth...

I think you are right, I haven't had other comments about Pino's face but thats generally becuase the illustration is next to another one where is face is clearer. I do think for fresh eyes, It could be hard to read his features. (his mouth is tiny- Ive not noticed before)
I will think about that in the future!

Yes, I'm aware that this illustration is a part of a series. But I commented from the perspective of totally 'fresh eyes' (as you said).
