Description For most of the day today, I've been reading a book that I got called "30,000 Years of Art"
It's an art history with full color photographs from every single piece of art that they feature. Fantastic book, and it's massive too.
I can already feel the knowledge I've gained working it's way into me

If it would be alright with you and anyone who helped you make this beautiful piece or work. I would love to feature this in a video montage dedicated to Anthro Tigers to be featured on YouTube. If yes your screen name, or names if more then one was involved in making, will be put in the credits and there will be a link back to your DA page or whatever page you'd prefer. Please let me know when you can respond to this request.

HOLY CRAP! that is pretty freaking amazing! And the tiger is all nonchalant like "yeah...I could kick your ass"

that sword design is just awesome! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. Though his pose seems a little awkward in this one. His leg looks like it would really hurt, and his arms just disappears behind his back

Thank you
Also I meant for it to be like that, considering how flexible of an animal the tiger is, this was just may way of creating an interesting pose to compliment that, and the arm is slightly behind the back to balance out the position of right forearm.

oh ok. I didn't realize the tiger was so flexible!

Wow, the folds in the cloak and muscular legs are especially impressive! I love art history books! They're inspirational!

Thank you very much
and they're pretty great, I'm like, 107 works into the 1,000 featured in the book and I find just reading the description under each one is pretty interesting.

It looks like he needs a left arm. But it looks awesome

Zethelius In reply to Glenhallprotectorite [2008-12-27 18:57:11 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, his left arm is behind his back, how could he be holding the second sword otherwise?

hmm i cant really seem to make sense of the arms, unless he really doesnt have a left arm?
but very well drawn and coloured!

You can make sense of the arms better from the lineart, which I posted and there is a link in the comments box, but the left arm is behind the back holding the 2nd sword, and the right arm is in front in almost a flexed position.
THanks

Oh amazing. I recently got this book full of the wonderful pictures of dragons. It has an arrange of older medieval realistic sketches that honestly fill me with joy. I can get how you feel about a book of art.

Zethelius In reply to Random-weasel [2008-12-28 02:25:56 +0000 UTC]

One book with a lot of mythical creatures in it that were all older pictures was "Treasury of Fantastic and Mythological Creatures" published by Dover (they always publish good art books) and I really liked that one too, and I figure you would because of the representation of creatures from Europe, to Japan to America, with all sorts of creatures and such.
