Actually, it's the Soviet Union (Russia and a group of neighboring countries) against the Japanese and Chinese. Though you are right in a way, since the Red Threat is mostly Russian.

There's one major problem: The Soviet Union collapsed in 91. And the USSR, like I mentioned, wasn't entirely Russia. It was a conglomerate of 15 or so neighboring countries, with Russia having the most control.
