Description
Shot token yesterday evening in the nature park "de maten" in diepenbeek.Its a protected area for all kind of animals.
At this moment, many birds are gathering there to start their journey to the south.

I have to ask as I shoot contrasty and vivid... how does one do soft and muted?

soft goes with gausian blur. What do you mean with "muted"?

I will remember gaussian blur, thanks... Muted colours are the oposite of vivid. So gentle uniform clours giving a painting like effect. In my film days I took one of these simply by accident, a foggy rural scene and its always been a favourite of mine. Your recent shots reminded me of it and as I have a new DSLR I will attempt more fotos along those line. Is duotone editing a PS feature?

Yes, duotone mode is in PS under the tab immage - mode.
