Time to practice backgrounds. I need to practice bakcgrounds because I almost don't know how to draw them...so...if you have a council for me, I would appreciate it >w<.PD: I don't know if Dofus spanish and english have Tainela as the name of the place of....jalatos? Lol, that's the name in spanish XDD

backgrounds are so hard @_@ and everyone does them differently too
I try not to use as many lines (or thinner lines) in my backgrounds so that they don't distract from whatever the actual subject of the piece is but I think it really just depends on your style... you have to find something you're comfortable with.
I think this looks pretty good (the trees look really well done) but I might have done more trees in the areas of darkness (farther back and darker trees) to show more depth to the background because it currently looks a little 2D
also my eye is really drawn to the tiles because they're so light colored and it's a little distracting
Anyways, that's my two cents on the subject, hope it helps somehow.... I try to pay a lot of attention to the backgrounds in artwork I like and try out the ways they handled it
