Fantastic style and technique. The way the nearby trees seem to part to welcome the clearing is very beautiful, and their deep tones paired with the even deeper tones in the mountainous background and the warm sunset/rise in the distance adds a lovely sense of coziness and sanction, despite the obviously cold weather. The warm, rich and diverse tones on the creature paired with the vibrant pattern-heavy textures on the figure only add to this sense of coziness, and topped off with a simplistic perspective and a beautiful painterly style, the image is undeniably homely. Though, I feel as if the circular frame is unnecessary, though that may just be me. Nevertheless, very rich colouring scheme with a tonne of warmth. Awesome work!
