Took 3 months stretch to complete, not sure how many hours per day for the days I worked on it. This is my second "Masterpiece", my first "Masterpiece" got corrupted during saving as many of you may remember, because when that happened I cried about it. Since the loss of my 2 months and a half that goes into my first "Masterpiece" I seriously almost gave up. This piece is mixed of experiences from what I learn in 6 months period since I got my wacom tablet, and experimentation. Digital freehand. I don't really draw digital sketch, its all trails on errors within the same piece. I also did not use any references of any kind. I just start drawing and connecting things and the composition comes naturally, and my color of choice comes from the color theory of my fashion design ability. WOW. Very unearthly setting and I really like the way you did both the clouds and the water! For some reason this reminds me of Relto from URU, if you've ever played that game. Anyway, fantastic work!

the sky and water are my fave parts about this picture. the sky has a true fantasy dream like feel. a place thta you wish was real..and i enjoy the affect of the water..not glassy as most portray.

It's so hard to find any flaws on this wonderful digital painting. In fact, I can't find anything wrong with it at all. The colors are birght and eye catching, especially the ones used on the buildings. The decor on each building is carefully detailed and the reflections on the bridges' floor is an amazing touch of realism. Not to mention that I'm in love with Asian culture. 
One question, though. What program did you use to create it? Painter, Photoshop or OpenCanvas?

truely beautiful color and composition. it oozes warmth.
i can't think of much to critique. the colors in the water look a little too diffused to me, but the more i examine it the more it makes sense. if you're going to play around with this piece a little more you might want to experiment with that.
but really, lovely work. a masterpiece indeed

Your work is beautiful, and reminds me of the pieces of Diego Riviera in both colour, shape and composition. Though comparing you to other artists does not do you justice, as it also has a style of it's own. The almost surreal colours and shapes are really amazing. Especially with this piece, I can see that a full view really does reveal the detail and effort you've put into your work
Artists always think their work is at least 99% finished

Wow! This is a really beatiful image... I love how the clouds seem to be being swept away. There is alot of movement and vibrant colour in it and it looks spectacular!

The colors are beautiful ("warm"), and I especially like the golden yellowish and yellowish green. I think that it looks kind of empty, but nevertheless I think that's why it seems peaceful and calm, and has kind of "longing for home" feeling to it. Masterpiece.

Amazing work.
The colors are incredible. I like the sun and the clouds very much. You did an outstanding job on the reflections on the deck. It looks almost too realistic. The shading and blending of colors is simply stunning. Well done!
