A rule I've seen is that gendered offspring take after the same gender parent. So, their daughters will be bunnies, and son's foxes. Colouring isn't dependant on this though.

Oh, that was one of my main arguments for not shipping these two: the debate of whether or not interspecies "activity" was canon or not. Apparently it is though. This also means I can't use it to stop my friends shipping Judy and me.
