I didn't even stuff the manes, but the batting sounds like a good idea for next time. As for the seam above the eyes, I think you may be referring to the dart I have on my head pattern.
Yeah, I figured someone would correct me on the eyeshadow colors. Half of the time Aloe had pink and the other blue, I now realize that it would have added even more contrast had I chosen the blue and gone with a lighter tone.

I've talked to a few other plush makers and quilt batting seams like a relatively easy way of getting a nice shape on your flatter manes. See how you go with it, anyway, it might be a nice experiment to do hehe
That would make sense. Didn't know if it was avoidable or not.
It's a bit hard to know if you've got it 'right' when the animators don't!

When i first saw these the first word that cam to my mind was "Adorable".
While most people focus on the Main six, The CMC or the Princesses & Villains. i usually like to pay attention to the always overlooked background ponies. Aloe and Lotus are no exceptions, these two ponies have always had the face of pleasant services, and general hospitality. and these plushies captured this perfectly.
The shared expression and inverted color schemes that these sisters are known for is perfectly done as well as the gloss appearance in both their manes and tails. This is a great job. and a good example of your talents. Keep it up ^v^
