she looks to be such a nice person! i'm gooing right now to her page...
of course the photo is beautiful, i really enjoy the small depth of field, it isolate her although the background isn't flat at all. the little blur on her face accentuates the spontaneous aspect of the photo, it is perfect, it says : "this smile is a really one!".
she looks surprised, was she?

i really like your potraits for the reason is that they all look so natural and you really use your models to their full potential even though its mostly candid. the thing that stands out about this photo in particular is the fact that shes so happy and radiant and you caught it perfectly. job well done

BTW...this may be one of those off-hand rare, coincidental observations on my part...but your friend (whose name is Maggie) sorta bears an uncanny facial resemblance to hyper-cute indie actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal...what do you think? Personally, I think it's cool.
