Description

This character is from the 'Early days' of the TV show called Redakai. He or she was animated thrice in a 'preview' for the show when it was still going through design stages. My guess is that the company (Marathon) pitched this to another company (Spin Master) and then agreed to do a franchise on it. They obviously made some final changes with designs etc. You can watch the preview here: [link] Sadly this design wasn't used in the actual show. None of the ones from the 'early' preview were.

I e-mailed Spin Master about this and this is what they said:

"We can certainly help you out with that question. The video you have found looks like one of our early preliminary test animations. As such, there was never full episode produced from which these clips were derived. The alternate names that you'll find being used for Kairu, Ky, etc. were what were used during the original planning and preparations before these details were eventually finalized prior to Redakai's launch."

If you watch the television show then you will notice that this character resembles Teeny of team Imperiaz. All of the characters in the preview (except for one) have a 'newer/final' design in the actual show.

As I couldn't see what this character fully looked like, I improvised and took some things from Teeny's actual design. Also I am assuming Teeny's early character design was Male instead of Female.

I'm a nerd and find this all interesting.

Oh and I only did flat colors for this because I don't shade well.
