You and me both my friend, you and me both.

We can still be amazed from afar.

I see some woodpeckers there. I just recently met one and was amazed at how loud they are.
Then I learned they have the most freakish tongues of all to serve as an anti-concussion mechanism.

Birds rule.

Not nessecarily “fragile”...just not particularly domesticated

"Too fragile"... except the ones who will eat your eyes like ju-ju-bees, of course.

I think no one keeps birds who will eat eyes as pets

A few people do, but they call themselves Falconers... and they keep the birds hooded and wear armor on their arms/hands when they interact with the birds!

Well... There are people who have tigers and lions as pets but still we call them wild animals... And I do the same about falcons, eagles and hawks

An excellent point... can you really call it a pet if the only value you have for it is as a source of protein?

I have two friends who have birds and they always make fun of me cuz I'm always afraid I'll hurt their pets I some way when they sit on my hands... (of course I'm talking about small birds... If you have a goose or turkey I will hug the eggs out of them)
If there's a possibility of breaking something i will freaking break it... That's why I don't like pets like birbs, hamsters, mice, bugs, little dogs etc.

That is an interesting reason. Nah I have two small birds, a bourke and a cockatiel.

Hej.
