I couldn't work with the frame in the background originally... I hope it was alright that I didn't use it..

I needed some painting practice, and I wanted to use lines that were better than my own at this point. Also I felt a little lazy and didn't want to try to line my own current pics with my mouse, so when I saw that had uploaded a lineart, I figured, hey, what the heck, I'll color it.

Enjoy, I think I didn't do too badly. ^^

(Oh, and I know I didn't put the character on his forehead... I didn't even want to try to draw it with my mouse, and it wasn't in the original lines because it's one of those color trace things.)

whenever i try coloring i always end up making a single color type and it looks un-natural and matte but you really did a gr8 job with the shading

altho i could try doing some abstractionism in the near future...

been taught? i didnt have anyone to teach me the art of digital painting and ive been seeing alot but copying them is pretty hard

I"ve been taught about basic shading and color things, that's about it.

For mouse work, that is impressive. Very clean colors. Especially the face. That looks really good.

The only real problem I see is with the shirt thingy. When shading black, you should try to keep a lot of contrast so you can still see the folds.

But still, for mouse work... damn.
