I always wanted to draw a picture with Rivers being protective of Celeste while they still both look pretty dang scary, so I think this came out just right. I love the way she just has her arm round him while being menacing with the gun...not that she really neeeeeeds a gun. Lol. I want a big fluffy nice werewolf to huggle me. I am very jealous of Celeste- despite many people seeming to think we are somehow one and the same...but then don't we put a bit of ourselves into every character we make?Anyway, enjoy the stormy graveyard werewolf goodness...oh and there's a cute little vampire in the background too...standing on something as they tend to do
EDIT: If anyone likes this pic, these characters are now in my book, THE AMULET OF VICHALACE, published 2007. It's full of vampires, werewolves and other supernatural beings, and they're not all evil bloodsucking monsters either...but then nor do they sparkle...Anyway, LINK BELOW!!

Awesome artwork! This is simply wonderful! Watching that werewolf embracing the girl so protectively like so kind a makes me wish I had one as a companion. They're typically portrayed as mindless killing machines in the movies. But I always thought there was more to the werewolf genre besides that. Teen Wolf was a good example of a film that took an entirely different direction on how werewolves are depicted. Anyway, this is great. I'm favoriting this one.

Very nice picture, Celeste and Rivers somehow manage to look both terrifying and yet...um...not sure what the word I'm looking for is, but the way they seem to care for each other is very touching ^^
Your book looks and sounds amazing too, I think it's great that you were able to get it published. Is the vampire in the background that seems to be stalking them in the book too?

Honestly is there any other way to protray a werewolf besides protective? Uber instincts to protect the Pack and all, even our own pets do it to us and there is like a few thousand years of evolution seperating them from the big bad wolfies

That's why in my books and pictures they are all nice (well mostly, obviously if you have a bad person, the wolf will probably be bad as well) but I just like the though of having a protective werewolf for a change, people give them such bad press in movies etc, time to have a change me thinks
