What a majestic creature.
...The kind of sight that would...
...Make anyone be running full speed in the opposite direction if seen at night. *makes cross with fingers* Particularly liked the evil (?) vibe the heads are giving. It also brought to mind some skeleton enemies from the Castlevania series, which I played a lot as a kid (particularly the first boss of Super Castlevania IV).

I loved the classics and the ones up to the Ps2 Era. Many fans regard Lament of Innocence as the last one that was really good, while some others don't really enjoy the 3D ones much, and vice versa.
Personally speaking, I enjoy most but the oldschool platformers are the best ones for me. Great games, if only kind of on the unforgiving side of the difficulty! Nowadays it's pretty much a dead series, but if you're into classic platformers, I'd recommend some of the games.
You should probably start with something like Symphony of the Night tho since that is very, very well regarded by pretty much everyone who played it and mostly agreed by the fans to be the best one in the series. Only "bad" thing in that one was the Dub in its few cutscenes, which went full meme. lol
