I know you are good artist, but this is weird...you're nowdays doing only these kind of simple things and people are acting like you're a god of art or something... there are so many other amazing artist who should get more attention than you.
It's not personally you, it's that people think you're so fucking amazing when you're doing these when you could do more.

If you didnt notice it already, I drew this for my girlfriend. not for the people on DA.
I NEVER draw to get pageviews or watchers, personally I couldn't give a damn about it.
I draw because I want to. I love drawing and I've done it my whole life. I've made loads of friends on DA since I joined and I'm glad I decided to upload my art here.
I totally agree that there are many deviants who are WAY better at drawing than me, but what I dont like is when people accuse the artist to have a high number in watchers or whatever, it's not like they can control it or something.
Maybe you liked my art more when I joined. but that's your own personal taste. people change and so does their art. I love trying out new styles and such. I find it thrilling.

In my personal opinion, people shouldn't draw to the best of their abilities just because they can; people draw because it expresses their thoughts and feelings.
That's the main reason why most people write, draw or paint; is to express their opinions, thoughts and emotions.
For example, I could write an amazing essay on the corruption found in today's society across the world and the flaws of the human condition, but I don't; I write fiction because I can implement my personal beliefs, opinions and feelings in an effective writing style.
And if an artist doesn't paint out of emotion, it's to entertain and enlighten other people with their artwork.
Many people enjoy looking at chibi drawings, myself included.
If an artist really wants to be noticed they should spread the word about their art; there are hundreds of thousands of deviants subscribed to deviantART. Sometimes it just takes time to be noticed. I know this from personal experience.

Well instead of blaming artists who really doesnt have anything to do with that why dont you make journals with featured artists instead?
I know I can do better but have you thought of that maybe I havent had time or felt like to do hugely amazing peces of art? It takes alot of time and I have to addmit I have lots of unfinished art on my computer. I'm trying to find my own personal style I feel comfortable with and to do that I feel that I want to try different things. may them be simple or uber detailed. there are loads of different art styles.
