Yeah and they're used by the Force Recon and MARSOC boys. Though something I'm definitely considering is this new flak jacket I don't remember the name of and can't find the site it was on. But it utilizes a quick detach system that just let's the sides unhook rather than using an emergency release lanyard. Also it has a built in flotation compartment.

I agree! I picked up an Armscor 1911 and I'm working on putting Wilson Combat trigger, hammer, slide stop, and extractor in there. I wouldn't mind throwing in some night sights as well. What current models do you have?

I own a few custom made guns, But as far as production made 1911's
Colt, Wilson, Kimber, Springfield, NightHawk Custom, Dan Wesson, SIG, Les Baer, STI, ED Brown, Rock River, S&W. I own more than one of some of the manufactures. I really want the New Ruger 1911, but they are hard to come by at the moment, I also own a few really nice GI 1911's. Most of my custom guns are built on Wilson frames, but I do have a few that are on various frames.

Yeah the Taurus one is cool, One of my buddies has one. Only problem with Taurus is their customer service, it took them 10 months to send me a part for a Raging Bull. To hear these kind of stories about Taurus is not rare. So i am will not buy any Taurus firearms until they get better at customer service. I wont carry them in my store either!
