Great Combo! Yes these are Talon grips, best 14 bucks I have ever spent. This Glock was starting to really get slippery due to excessive duty wear and rubbing on car seats and etc over the last few years. Now it has a solid non slip grip. Not so sure I would want this on my 26 or 27 though, but rub you a little raw if you don’t wear an undershirt while carrying concealed. My solution for my CCW Glock was to texture the front and rear straps while leaving the sides with the factory finish. Works great!

Curiously enough, mine is sitting a foot from my hand now.
Or rather, my compensated variant of it.

How many compensated models do you have? I never seem to remember seeing very many. Have you got something against them?

They Kill your night vision. You wont find many serious gunners with the "C" models

I haven't got much reason to shoot mine at night. Ranges around here don't allow night shooting and I spend most of the dark hours near a shotgun anyway. Though, I wonder how true that holds for me. I've been told my night vision is exceptional.

There is a 98% chance that if you ever have to use your handgun to protect yourself or family it will be at night. It doesn’t matter how good your night vision is, if a bright V of fire spikes up into your line of sights you vision within the next few minutes will be effected. And seconds count in a gun fight. Now don’t get me wrong I am in no way saying β€œC” models are in anyway less reliable in a gun fight. If one comes sliding across the floor to me in a gun fight, I am not going to say Eww its a β€œC” model I don’t want it LOL. I know guys that bought β€œC” models because they were selling cheap because the store couldn’t sell them. And then all they did was replace the barrels with non ported barrels, works fine!

Well, shit, if you replace the ported barrel and not the slide, you're going to have worse recoil than you would with a non-C model, since the weight of your slide is marginally less, correct? The difference should be negligible, but still.
Anyways, like I said. I spend most of my night hours at home or in my car. If I can't get to one of my shotguns immediately, 3 or 4 shots in the same direction as the first one will more than likely be enough to buy me enough time to grab it. I don't train looking down the sights trying to nail a bull's eye all the time. Aiming by feel rather than by sight. Despite so many people trying to convince me the grip angle for Glocks is unnatural, I'd like to think (or rather, I know) I can shoot better than they can without my precious tritium circles (Most of them, at least). By sense of smell, if you will. Shooting like that can get some odd looks at the range, sometimes. Even if I never have to shoot without the use of my sights, training without them is still amusing. Waste of money? Maybe. Maybe not.

Nothing wrong with training yourself to be able to shoot instinctively.

Personal favorite of mine. Especially the RTF.

I need to buy a new Gen 4 OD or Dark earth colored Glock. RTF is cool as well. Thank you very much!
