Description

An unusual work for me : specially made for an IRL event.

The theme consisted on drawing something to illustrate a book, a comics I already read.

I searched a long time between all the comics titles I read since my childhood and ... I remembered "Papyrus", by Lucien De Gieter.

The plot of this seris lies in an Egyptian boy's adventures. He had to fight a lot against Seth's traps and to protect the princess he loved ! Mythology, Egypt and a pinch of magic : all I loved and love again !

The unusual side here is the medium :

Tall paper sheet, graphite pen, ballpoint pen for linework and coloured pencils. I admit it was hard to apply that I learned in digital painting but I tried my best. As always the scanning step slaugthers my render and I tried to adjust a bit with colour filters on Krita, respecting my coloring choices.
