Description You know, it really is a matter of details... the added realism of having the "LEGO" writing on the studs is incredible!

I added the LEGO logo on each stud but this made the assemblies difficult to manage and quite heavy as far as polygon count is concerned (say +100% on triangle count!). I now have a family table system allowing me to easily switch logo on for selected parts, namely the ones that are actually visible, and in this way I have a poly count increase of about +30% that is quite acceptable.

The model is, as usual, Pro|ENGINEER (each logo is solid geometry), rendered in Hypershot.

Looks amazing!
I tried Hypershot but it doesn't work on my laptop. My video processor is too weak TT_TT

Hypershot now uses iRay and probably relies entirely on gpu power (didn't check it in a while). You could have a try with Keyshot, it's still CPU based and actually the engine from this versions of Hypershot is the one from Luxion (makers of Keyshot)

That's awesome! I love it! I actually just came across this by searching "Lego car" into Google, was close to the top! I was just looking for a quick colour scheme for an idea for my Lego car model and this was my pick! Great colours, model, and render! I might need to get some tips from you

This was the first rendering with the "LEGO" logo on each stud, it's a very simple scene but I really like the quality of the illumination and the fact that the logo is really visible.

That is really awesome, and the LEGO does add a lot to the feeling that this is real.

Thank you! I also completed the tow truck, I'll post a full city scene as soon as I have some time to set it all up... it will be huge
