It's not that I dislike James. I am just pretty indifferent towards James. He just doesn't make me feel the way Kaidan does. (Ok, nobody does, not even my husband *cough* I blame it on his voice. The first time Kaidan opened his mouth and said something I was a goner. And on, oh, everything, lol.) Sure, my FShep flirts with James but more because she likes to flirt sometimes but I am not fond of Shega. Her heart belongs to Kaidan.
(Oddly though, I don't mind MShega. That's a combination I can live with whereas I am no fan of MShenko. Kaidan is for FShep and FShep only and vice versa. I'm strange like that...)

Well, James has the same relationship with my FemShep (Jane Shepard from Shattered Hopes, though I didn't reach that part of the story yet) I just can't picture the two of them together. It just feels so... wrong. Though there are many great Shega fics out there that really make sense of this pairing. I can name a few of them if you are interested 
Kaidan *sigh* same has happened to me too. I just fell in love with him the moment I laid my eyes on him, and then that voice
