Some of the test I'm doing for Marvel, I know there is a lot of dead space on this..but I'm supose to leave room for the titles and stuff :S damn background was tough, I have to practice more on BG...I can't stand them!any comments are welcome!

Wow man this is intense ! The drawing is really dynamic when we look at spider-man and the fact that the buildings arent straight gives more movement into the drawing.
To give the impression of spider-man really poping out of the bg I would suggest you draw a bigger outline of spider-man. For example, you can notice that the right hand is like "attached" to the skyscraper and I dont think that is what you want. By making the line bigger we would feel that spider-man is really in front of the buildings. But thats just a little detail to correct, This illustration is absolutely awesome and it goes straight to my favs !

The detail and precision used within this illustration is incredible.
Your work is a huge inspiration to me and I was wondering how you got into this kind of work. Working for Marvel just sounds like a total dream job. I am just finishing my 2 year course in visual communication and I would greatly appreciate any advice about how to take illustration further.

no prob man, I love reading long comments....right. So, bassically just put a good portfolio and hit conventions (San Diego mostly) and show ur work to Marvel editors, If they think ur worth it they will give you a shot!
