This is a Korean celebrities crossover with Avatar characters. Not a culturally/ethnically accurate portrayal.

This is what happens when an Avatar fan is also a kpop/kdrama fan. ^___^
While and after i created Jang Geun Suk as Tahno, i wanted to make more Korean actor/singer castings for Legend of Korra characters.
Next up is Asami! Poor girl dated a jerk who ran off to be a mother for her best female friend. so sad....YES MAKO! I'M TALKIN ABOUT U!

this is all about Asami.
in my personal casting, Asami will be played by SNSD/Girls Generation's Taeyeon.
i was torn between SNSD's Tiffany, 2NE1's Bom, Sistar's Dasom & Bora. But after much picture googling, i had a thought that Taeyeon's celebrity image is somewhat like Asami's personality.
They're both able to be girly yet when a situation calls for it, 10000% total female badasses.
i tried to find a fierce picture of taeyeon but then thought, fierce isnt really asami.
so why not something strong but still sweet?

Hey can I ask a question, one of my characters is Native American and Japanese but I don't know how to draw him correctly to make him look like the balance of both races. Here is the picture of him -->[link]

thanks! glad u like them.
the best thing to do is look up pictures of mixed raced people. for example, the most common mixed raced ones are usually asian and Caucasian. of the mixed ones i've seen, theres usually the height and general shape structure of the caucasian side with the details of asian.
as for japanese and native american, asians and natives usually have the same features except for skin color.
of the pictures i googled, most jap/native mixes look somewhat southeast asian, leaning towards thailand and vietnam areas.

yes. Bom was who i thought of first but after much thinking, taeyeon fitted. if i keep this drawing series going, i could use Bom as someone else. otherwise, i may draw some 2NE1 portraits later on.
