Description This piece is inspired by this amazing work from one of my favorite 3D artists: Daniel Eskridge

The models in my image are posed in Daz Studio. The landscape and final render were done in Vue. Postwork in Photomatix and Photoshop.

Another epic Danny picture.Β  I can recognize that burnt autumnal hue anywhere.Β  I really like the hair on the archer.Β  That's some long hair.Β  When I was little my hair was so long I could sit on it.Β  That was painful sometimes.Β  Now I can only sit against it.Β  Still pretty uncomfortable if you don't put your hair up.

Are the heroesΒ coming home or setting off for adventures untold,Β the story-telling begins either way.Β  Good job!

Thanks very much, dear Aoife! And yes, I have to change my style some day. It's becoming too predictable Hahaha! If I was a girl and had long hair, it would drive me crazyΒ Β  And I think the heroes are just taking a break during one of their adventures. Maybe they will explore the castle or heading on to the next village. As you say, in any way the story-telling begins.

Wow! Stunning visual. One has to look at it full size to really appreciate the work. The flocks of birds, the dog, even the rock the seated character si on. Beautifully done. The seated character is amazing. I love it!
