This is one of a series of small portraits of movie creatures I paint for my husband. After a couple of classic Godzilla characters I chose this cute little robot after watching Disney's "The Black Hole". It is a surprisingly dark 1979 sci-fi movie, and V.I.N.CENT might be its biggest star. I am not really satisfied with the details here because painting animal like creatures is way easier for me than painting geometrical shapes.
