Slias likes nature, calm and quiet places, and napping. One of the things he likes to do if he can is watch the sunsets of Elpis after he's found a good vantage point(usually by climbing a tree).

Dislikes:
One of the things that really sets Silas off is people making fun of him or his friends. He hates staring, he'll glare back until you turn away. And he dislikes having to be around crowds of people, thought one or two is okay. One of Silas' biggest pet peeves is people touching his ears/tail. XD

Personality:
Silas has both personalities of his trainer and pokemon, as he can be very gentle and kind, but quickly turn hostile in a moment. He's actually rather shy, and not good with words. He easily gets flustered just by talking to people! But if you get to know him well, he's an invaluable friend. Silas' greatest fear is losing himself, so even though he doesn't like being around people, he'll stay so he won't forget who he is. He tries hard to find a place in the world where he fits best. He hates it when people make fun of his friends. He's very loyal that way.
He's very curious, which has gotten him into trouble many times.

History:
Before becoming a Gijinka, the human Silas used to be called Aland. He was the apprentice of the village's apothecary, his mother. One day Aland went outside on a rainy afternoon looking for plants, when he discovered a badly injured Riolu. Aland abruptly took it back home, and for the next few days nursed it back to health. The Riolu stayed with him, having taken a immediate liking to Aland. As Aland grew, he and his newly named Riolu, "Silas", became the best of friends, and never went anywhere without each other. Soon afterward, Silas evolved, and Aland now had a Lucario as his new companion. On a sunny day, in the woods, Aland asked Silas if he wanted to try and become a gijinka, his mind set on showing that their friendship was inseparable. Silas thought it wasn't a good idea, due to Aland's poor health, but gave in anyway; he couldn't refuse Aland. When they started to merge, Silas knew something was terribly wrong, but couldn't do anything to stop it. Aland had fallen to the ground, and was coughing up blood, and a split second later, Silas blacked out. When he woke up, all he could remember was that his name was Silas, his memories as a Riolu/Lucario and some very vague memories of Alands'. Aland was phyisically weak, and turning into a Gijinka had almost killed both of them in the effort. Aland's personality was almost completely wiped out, and Silas did not remember Aland, even though his memories showed him he did. Silas strongly believed that it was his job to protect Aland no matter the cost, and he felt the loss. Going back home, his mother tried to bring back Aland, her son who she still thought she saw in Silas. After a while, Silas could no longer stand being constantly reminded and compared with Aland, and feeling such doubt and guilt that he believed he had killed Aland himself, he decided to go off into Elpis to find himself a new life. Aland's mother took the news badly, but didn't hold him back, she knew it was best if Silas left. Now in a new town, searching for a new life, where will Silas go to now?
