Description Don't get confused with the titles of my fractals. There is no hidden meaning in them.
...Or is there?

Dedicated to my friend ~Caine89 . Thanks for constant support.

I like the texture of this fractal. The colours complement it very well, too.

Maybe it's not that obvious, but I started to work more on the textures with newer fractals (which means less "pre-blur" and more xaos ).

Thanks for the !

Hmm, I've never really understood what xaos is meant to be. Someone described it to me once as a 'relative weight modifier,' but that added to my confusion, if anything.

You must have used the "transform weight", which allows you to make one xform more visible than the others. Xaos does the same, but for every combination of 2 xforms. I.e you can set how visible will be combination of current xform with other particular xform.
If used correctly xaos can allow you to make multi-layered fractals (though it is not its only possible use).

I believe there should be some tutorials on how to use xaos. But actually it's not too hard to learn it by yourself (I did so ).

Ah, thanks for the information; it's starting to make more sense now. I'll have a look around and see if I can find any tutorials, and experiment with it a bit.

Feel free to ask if have any more questions. I'm always ready to help a fellow "apophysiac".

i'm always super duper interested in these things when i see my dA messaged counter go up, and then when I click that download button to see the whole thing expanded.... dAmn!!!

Making fractals is even more interesting than looking at them. You should really try that, it's not that hard.

I played around with Apophysis a few times, but I'm too lazy to learn how to use it.

You can't be lazier than me.
Actually, I use Apophysis only because I'm too lazy to draw manually in photoshop.

I am lazier than a brick my friend!

You still do some editing in photoshop, though, right? I have no photoshop for myself, so you'd be stuck lookin' at my flames (if that's what they're called, haha).

I use photoshop less with every fractal submitted, usually only for minor color enhancements (curves/color mixer).
I became too lazy even for adding a gradient on background.
If you want I could send you some of my flames to start your experiments from.

Maybe I'll play with it some more... my first accomplishment was a dolphin.

Wut? A dolphin? I wanna see it.

Ahh... Yes, it's a dolphin.
Do you have a skype or ICQ account?
If you have Photoshop and some free time I could tell you how to make wallpapers like Emotions of Ice , White Peak - Dark Peak , Green etc.

I love how complex this one is.

Despite its visual complexity, technically this fractal is quite simple. It's just a combination of three sphericals plus one linear for texture. The most comples part was choosing colors (as always ).

Thanks for the fave!
